Outline;
We will spend
Friday and Saturday nights in the CIC Hut, located at the foot
of Tower Ridge on Ben Nevis (shown opposite). You are required
to book your place on this meet, as there are only 6 available –
a full payment of £15 per person will be required at time of
booking which covers your accommodation.
Logistics;
We will arrange
to meet at a suitable time on Friday afternoon for the approach
walk to the Hut - full details of time and place, and exact plan
will be published later this year in the Meet Info Flyer. We
understand that it is likely to be difficult for everyone
involved making the meeting time on Friday afternoon, you will
need Friday off work if you don’t want to be walking into the
hut in the dark, and possibly in less than pleasant weather
conditions.
Insurance;
We would always recommend that you take out adequate insurance
for your climbing activities, although this is especially
relevant on this meet. A package such as the BMC’s Alpine & Ski
cover will cover you for Scottish Winter conditions and the
activities you are likely to embark during this meet. |
